Homemade Eye Serum for Beautiful Skin

I have to give the credit to my friends Darlene and Lindsay for this idea! In our Facebook Group, they said that they use lavender essential oil around their eyes to help with puffy eyes. I thought that was just brilliant and further proved why I'm so obsessed with lavender essential oil. But you know me-- I'm always trying to take things to the next level! So, this great idea from these two ladies got me thinking: what if I could make a serum that not only helped their eyes, but also supported healthy skin around the eyes!

To be honest, I'm pretty amazed at the results. One morning I looked at myself in the mirror and the darkness was so reduced that I could barely see it! I squeal. Seriously.

Eye Serum Roll-on

• 20 drops of Lavender Essential Oil
• 15 drops of Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
• 10 drops of Frankincense Essential Oil
• Rosehip Oil (organic)
• Sweet Almond Oil (organic)

Supplies:

• 5 ml glass bottle (I re-use my empty Young Living bottles)
• 1 roller fitment
• Stainless Steel Mini Funnel (recommended)

This is so easy, you guys! I like to use a funnel to help prevent accidents, but you don't need one if you have super stable hands (I don't!)

In a clean 5 ml bottle, I add the essential oils, then the carrier oils. The carrier oil measurements don't really need to be exact, but the goal is to fill the remaining space with 50% Almond Oil and 50% Rose Hips Oil. After I've secured the fitment top on the bottle, I'll roll it between my hands gently to mix the solution. 

I use this 2-3 times daily on my eyes by rolling it along the outside of my eye, and then lightly massaging it into my skin for about a minute. CAUTION: Be careful not to get this directly into you eyes! If you do, then flush your eyes with carrier oil-- NOT water.
